Short-term Disability Insurance
All full time and part-time employees of Hutcheson Medical scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week can enroll in the Short-term Disability plan with the following benefits:
- Benefit amount equals 60% of basic weekly earnings.
- Benefits begin the 31st day of disability due to sickness or accident.
- Benefits are payable as long as you are totally disabled, up to 5 months.
- Maternity Benefits are paid the same as for an illness
- Benefits are not paid for occupational injury or illness
- No benefit will be paid if you are eligible for Workers Compensation benefits.

- Bi-weekly premium equals $.20769 per $10.00 of weekly benefit. (Weekly earnings X 60% X $.020769)
