Basic Life Insurance

Each regular full-time employee is provided Life & AD&D insurance. Premiums are paid 100% by Heard County Schools.

Amounts of coverage reduce 35% at age 65, and an additional 15% of the original amount at age 70.

Employee Life Insurance and AD&D benefit amount is based on years of service.

• Less than 10 years: $25,000
• 10-19 years: $40,000
• 20 years or more: $50,000
