Our enrollment team is made up of experienced personnel who conduct enrollments in a professional manner, without high-pressure tactics. Our three-year persistency rate ranges from 88% to 93%. We developed our own laptop enrollment system to accommodate new and existing core benefits, as well as any ancillary benefits desired. Our system assures accuracy for insurers and our client's payroll department.
We demand excellent service from the insurance carriers we represent, as well as our own customer service personnel. We work with some of the largest and most productive employee benefit agents and brokers in the industry.

Bill Houze, President
In 1975, Bill Houze entered the insurance business as an agent and Financial Planner with National Life of Vermont. Soon after, his interests shifted to the business insurance arena and employee benefits. Since that time Bill has enjoyed a very successful career and has assimilated an efficient staff of full time employees and benefit counselors, who handle benefits enrollment for a large number of employer groups.
Bill says he is most proud that his firm has been able to master the technology needed to keep Houze & Associates ahead of their competition in providing administration, enrollment and service to their clients. Bill is also very proud that his daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Jason Weldon, joined the firm and contribute strongly to their success.
Bill has always been a workaholic, but seems to find time to kindle his passion for travel. His wife Charlotte says that his hobbies are working and traveling. However, his latest passion is his grandchildren.
Stacey Weldon, Vice President
Stacey is a 1996 graduate from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications.
Joining Houze & Associates in the summer of 2003, Stacey began marketing to future clients while working with existing clients to help them embrace the cutting edge technology changes available through Houze. Stacey continues to work with clients for implementation of new products/carriers, managing enrollment services and focuses on technology solutions for current and potential clients.
She brought knowledge from the technology industry where her experience was in Electronic Commerce and Networking Industry. Prior to joining Houze & Associates, Inc. Stacey spent seven years at Harbinger/Inovis, an Atlanta Based Software/Network Company, as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Partner Certification Consultant, and Sales Account Executive where she earned the Network Service Top Sales Producer for two years. She spent two additional years as a Sales Engineer and Product Manager with an XML/Web Services Networking company, XML Solutions and Flamenco.
Stacey earned her IBM XML Developer Certification in April 2000 and has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 2005. She also holds active Life/Health Insurance Licenses in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Nevada and Alabama.
In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Jason and their children. They enjoy the lake, beach and mountain retreats when time allows them to get away.
Jason Weldon, Director of Business Operations
Jason Weldon gladly joined the family business in June 2012. Before coming to Houze & Associates, Jason worked as an Associate Implementation Director in the Corporate Project Management Office at TSYS. Prior to joining TSYS, Jason spent ten years in the data exchange and data warehouse industries as a business development manager, program manager and developer.
Overseeing client enrollment processes for Houze & Associates from beginning to end, Jason is responsible for the management of all client enrollments, from high-level planning to managing the execution of individual tasks. He provides guidance and direction to ensure the success of each client enrollment.
Born & raised in Atlanta, GA, Jason earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and moved to LaGrange in 2005.
Jason spends most of his time with his wife, Stacey, and their two children. They enjoy getting outside, from the beach to the mountains to just running through the sprinkler in the back yard. In his “spare” time, Jason enjoys any type of fishing, reading Southern literature, playing mandolin in the bluegrass band Hot Boiled Peanuts and watching Braves baseball.
Jason brings a wealth of organizational experience and program management skills to Houze & Associates and will be instrumental in the executive management and future growth of our company.
Don Miller, Executive Director of Strategic Benefit Planning
Prior to arriving at Houze & Associates, Don Miller served as the Chief Financial Officer for Troup County School System. His forty years of experience, spread equally among private and public sector operations, includes strong experience in employee benefits education, implementation of a variety of benefit programs and development of cost effective benefits programs. Don has a Masters in Accounting from the University of Iowa. Don assists our existing and future clients in these and other areas as Houze & Associates continues to offer our customers services tailored to their needs.
